Characters - Morlock
Talk about a grumpy old vampire. If there were a lawn in front of the castle instead of a big, black, murky moat, Morlock would spend all of his time yelling at kids to "stay off the grass!" Instead, the seven-hundred-year-old bloodsucker usually just contents himself with taking long, upright naps in his coffin during the day and grumbling about the local villagers at night. In fact, the last time Morlock tried to transform himself into a bat, he threw his back out. But that doesn't stop him from acting like he can still swoop down and drain the lifeblood out of a young damsel on a moment's notice. Old habits indeed die hard for an undead vampire who earned his fangs in Medieval Europe. These days, however, Morlock is feared more for being a fuddy-duddy landlord than for feasting on the necks of the innocent.
